Animus on the Animas: 1st Annual Durango Boxing Classic
July 6, 2024 at the Main Mall in historic Downtown Durango
This USA Boxing-sanctioned amateur showcase will be a highlight of the City of Durango’s Four Days for the Fourth marketing campaign. Anticipating 20-30 bouts, the event will draw USA Boxing officials, athletes, coaches, and families from multiple states. Both locals and visitors are expected to attend in high numbers.
At The Good Fight Boxing Club, community is at the heart of what we do. This event will not only celebrate our local boxing community but also introduce the broader public to the rich culture of the “Sweet Science.” Your partnership will help us showcase the best of Durango’s culture and hospitality, ensuring that this event becomes a highlight of every July to come.
In addition to celebrating our community, the event will serve as a fundraiser for The Good Fight Boxing Gym, which has been serving Durango for five years. Proceeds will support our club and allow us to start a scholarship fund to enrich the lives of our boxers and our community for years to come. Join us in honoring the history and culture of our city while supporting a worthy cause.
Only 100 presale tickets are available, so be sure to secure your seat by reserving your ticket before the bouts by one of the following methods:

Make sure to include your name, email address and phone number in the Venmo comments so we can send you a receipt. Bring your receipt on the day of the event to claim your wristband at will call.

The Main Event
July 6, 2024
Doors open at 12:00 pm, with the first bell at 1:00 pm
Opening Festivities: Land Acknowledgement, National Anthem, opening prayer, music, and trivia
Supports Local Businesses: Guests will be encouraged to visit Main Mall restaurants and other merchants open for business during the event.
